The Government of Telangana is set to implement the Employees Health Scheme (EHS) to ensure healthcare security for state employees and pensioners. In this regard, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will conduct a review meeting with officials on the implementation of the scheme.
✅ The scheme will be implemented through the Employee Health Care Trust. The trust will include six representatives from employee unions and two representatives from pensioners’ associations as its members.
✅ A state government employee will be appointed as the CEO of the trust. The process of collecting the necessary data for the implementation of the scheme has already begun. The Finance Department has issued a circular to all departments for collecting details of government employees, pensioners, and their family members.
✅ The government has directed that all data be uploaded by 31 May 2026. Based on this information, the government will take necessary steps to provide digital health cards and cashless medical treatment services to beneficiaries.
